and here I am...

It has been far too long since I have posted to my blog. Seems that everyday I think, "hey, I should post this to my blog" and then the day is gone...rinse and repeat, and here I am 4 months later setting the time aside to write.
I have, actually, been doing a lot of work. I have been creating many custom items - those special pieces designed and created specifically for my clients; I have been replenishing my inventory for the fall show season; and, I have also welcomed a couple interns into my studio. Gaining more than help around the studio, I enjoy teaching them new metalsmithing skills and building friendships.
And I have a new little helper in the studio in the afternoons as well, my son. So, while I set stones, carve waxes, stamp bracelets, and sketch designs, I get to watch hula-hooping extravaganzas, observe him painting masterpieces, hear about his kindergarten adventures, and teach my son about my studio.
