Flattered...
Tavia, Posted July 09, 2009
I walk around with a pep in my step as I am totally flattered with all of the wonderful press I have been receiving lately. And it continues with a couple more features that add a little flair to taviametal. I am excited to share them both with you now. Although they are local blogs to Charlottesville, I think anyone can find interesting things on both of these sites. So, check them out!

This past Monday I was featured on a local blog, C'ville Entremom, which is a spotlight of Charlottesville's Mom based businesses. Written by working mom Angie Brement, a local photographer who specializes in photographing families and children, C'ville Entremom works to build a community of mom entrepreneurs in Charlottesville and raise awareness about such businesses in the area. She really highlighted some of the most important things to me about my story and my work. Thank you Angie for such a nice post about taviametal!

I was happily surprised today to discover another sweet post about taviametal from Meg Runion, who is a local wedding photographer with a documentary style working for Rob Garland Photography. I have known Meg for some time now and I got chills when reading her blog entry today which speaks of her engagement ring and proves the value of family heriloom jewelry. Creating one-of-a-kind custom pieces that honor an event, a union, or a loved one is such a personal and, at times, emotional event, that the pieces contain stories and memories immediately. I am totally honored and excited to create the perfect wedding ring for Meg that will help enhance the beauty of her union and survive generations of love and family.
